This award was created as a fun way to promote student participation in the Annual International Meeting (AIM). Here's how it works. The the AIM, a map of North America will be used by the IPC officers to determine the distances along a straight line from represented student branches to the location of the AIM in miles. These distances are then multiplied by the total number of student branch members present at the IPC Business Meeting to determine the highest number of miles. Two winners will be announced from the top engineering and mechanization branches. Only undergraduate members will be counted. Winners will be announced at the AEM/ASABE Student Awards Breakfast.
