To volunteer to review journal manuscripts, please e-mail Robert Smith a request to be added to the list of potential reviewers. Indicate the technical community(ies) below which most closely represents your area of expertise, then, include more specific areas of interest such as grain storage, aerobic treatment, center pivot irrigation, etc., that can be used in the reviewer database as search keywords.

Also, provide your job title, address, e-mail address, and phone number along with a couple of sentences about your education and work history. Staff will create a record in our reviewer database and notify the appropriate technical community editor of your interest.

When selected as a reviewer, you will receive an e-mail message from the associate editor asking you to review a specific manuscript. The e-mail will contain a link to view the document and a review form to complete. Training for peer-review is free using Publons Academy and you may choose to have Publons track your reviews.

Please indicate which of these technical communities most closely matches your areas of expertise:

  • Applied Sciences & Engineering
  • Education, Outreach, & Professional Development
  • Energy Systems
  • Ergonomics, Safety, & Health
  • Information Technology, Sensors, & Control Systems
  • Machinery Systems
  • Natural Resources & Environmental Systems
  • Plant, Animal, & Facility Systems
  • Processing Systems

We appreciate your willingness to help in the journal review process. Sharing your expertise to help authors improve their manuscript is important to the scholarly publication process.
